Totally impressed with this new author. Got hooked into the storyline early on and wanted more at the end!! (Shouldn’t that be how every book is???) From cover to cover the pages in between explode with sexual tension, adventure, humor and finally lovvvvvve… Seriously, I highly recommend the book…and I agree with the previous review; I look forward to the next book written by N. Waters!!!

This review is from: Too Grand for Words (Bookstrand Publishing Romance) (Paperback)

A MUST read!! I thoroughly enjoyed the development of such a sassy cast of characters. It’s a story of a 5 Coast Guard coworkers who embark on a trip to Vegas with their boss and end up experiencing her “curse”. Without giving away the whole plot – a majority of the book is set in Vegas where the stakes are high. The leading couple plays a delicious cat and mouse game culminating into some very exotic moments…

I loved this story! And subsequently rated it 5/5…here are my top 5 reasons why: 1) I have bought into the grandiose dream that anything, truly ANYTHING can happen in Las Vegas…fuelling my fire into buying plane tickets for January 2012. 2) I identify with the main character Moira. She’s a strait shooter. Strong. Tough. But has a weakness that is inherent with most women. She has this beauty that everyone can see but her. 3) I love (read: L-O-V-E) the fact the beautiful characters in the book didn’t want to make me go out and develop an eating disorder. They’re appearances were described as (dare I say it?) NORMAL. It could also be that I love the Coast Guard. 4) As a result of these (normal)descriptions…the author uses her uncanny ability to produce fabulous personalities in each character. 5) Lastly, Ms. Waters describes this amazing experience at a Japanese Temple in the desert. I actually “GOOGLED” it to see if it existed. It doesn’t. But it SHOULD. I would LOVE nothing more than to have Madame Butterfly prepare a meal for me and my lover…

The author is very good at describing feelings and personalities. After reading for a couple of hours, I felt a little disoriented after putting the book down because I was still in the story. The characters become real and maintain their personalities throughout the book. There’s a lot more than just romance in this novel. The many love scenes are explicit and described beautifully. The action scenes read like a movie script, and the character interplay is entertaining and “real”. A great easy to read book from a debut author. If you have the time, you’ll probably read this in one sitting. I look forward to more novels from Natasza.
